What to Bring: Swimsuit & towel!

The PADI open water dive course is spread over 4 days and below is a sample schedule:

Day 1: Theory (self-study sections 1-3) & Swimming pool skills;
Day 2: 2 Ocean Dives, Theory sections 4 & 5 & Swimming pool skills;
Day 3: 2 Ocean Dives 

This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventure with PADI. As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world; you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional to 18 meters.  Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.

If you have had any recent surgeries or are taking any medications or suffer any illnesses, please bring a signed note from your GP or physician stating you are fit to scuba dive.  There is a medical questionnaire we will ask you to fill out.

Throughout the course, you�ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, techniques and dive equipment maintenance.

Full scuba gear hire is included in the course price.  It�s best to do the course first, before buying your own dive equipment, so you have more of an idea of how everything works and what works best for you.

We can arrange part-time or full-time courses. Please speak to us if you are super-quick at learning and have only 3 days and we can explain the course structure to you then, but we do prefer a full 3 - 4 days to get you comfortable in the water!

On completion, a temporary card is issued (valid for 90 days) and within that time, an Open water certification card will be sent from PADI International in the UK.  This is valid for life and includes your details, the instructor & course details and your photograph.
